Our Tuesday, June 23rd Hometown Heroes are Austin and Katie Alexander of Nicholasville. They were nominated by Austin’s Aunt, Traci. Traci says” Austin and Katie live on a farm in Jessamine county. Austin is a truck driver by night and farmer by day, and Katie is a cardiac care nurse at UK. They are new parents (they had a baby boy in November) and both called to work on the front line. They do it with joy and humble hearts knowing what they are doing matters.
