Notes from Governor Andy Beshear’s daily press conference:
There were 234 new COVID-19 Cases revealed in the state today, bringing the total to 13,197 infected in the Commonwealth. Today that total included 14 from Harrison County, 13 from Fayette County, 12 in Scott County, 5 in Madison County, 3 in both Franklin and Woodford Counties, 2 in Clark County and 1 in Montgomery County.
There have been 336,267 Kentuckians who have been tested for Coronavirus, of those there have ever been 2,482 in the Hospital with COVID-19, there are 400 in now. There have ever been 975 Kentuckians ever in the ICU with Coronavirus, there are 68 in now.
There have been 3,506 Kentuckians who have recovered from COVID-19.
There were 3 new deaths announced today, bringing the statewide total to 520.
Tomorrow is Juneteenth, the day that Galveston, TX heard that the Civil War ended and the end of Slavery in America. He signed a Proclamation to declare June 19th, 2020 as a holiday in Kentucky.
Since the Governor announced that Felons that don’t have Violent and/or sexual crimes be able to Vote 3 days into his administration. There are now 175,053 Ex-Offenders that have had their voting rights restored since then.
